It’s about jobs … Jobs, jobs, JOBS! It’s not about contraception, the National Debt, Immigration, Tax Reform, Banking Regulation or Medicare, it’s about JOBS.
The Presidential Candidate who will get my vote in November will have a concise, detailed plan on how to get Americans back to work. They must also have balls big enough to get the job done.
Here are a couple of pointers: First, don’t tell me Congress won’t let you do it. You’re the President. If Bush could dive bomb Baghdad with no provocation, you can get a jobs bill passed.
Secondly, don’t get all teary about “Job Creators.” Most Americans aren’t top wage earners. More often than not the Lower & Middle Class workers are given raw deals by the very “Job Creators” you’re so hot to give tax breaks to. You want to get my vote? Start respecting me, Joe (I-Work-for-a-Living). Sure Starbucks CEO gives good face on the media circuit, but have they given equal billing to the Starbuck employees struggling to live on the minimum wage he pays? I don’t think so.
Who has a plan to turn the economy around, neither Romney nor Obama seem to have a clue. Even if they did, Obstructionist in Washington would kill it before it sees the light of day. Then the SuperPacs would buy it, package it, and spend billions to discredit the guy who thought of it. Everything in Washington comes with a price tag attached.
